ジズとは鳳凰に似たユダヤの伝説に登場する巨鳥。
旧約聖書では、レビヤタンは海、ベヒモスは陸、ジズは空を象徴とする巨大な鳥で大地に立った時、
その頭は点まで届き、羽を広げると太陽をも覆い隠す。大きな羽が世の中を包み込んでくれるように
願いを込めて描いた作品です。
