Colour in the rainとは、日本語で『雲外蒼天』。雨雲の上には青空が広がっている。今ある苦難もやがて去って良いことがあるだろうという例えの四字熟語。今私達が経験している辛い経験とは、長い人生その場所に降っている雨に過ぎないのだ。雲の上は晴れていて、そのうちそんな辛さなんて過ぎ去ってしまう。そんな経験は誰しもあることなのだ。空を登っていくと、そこには晴れた空が広がっている。龍が青空へと天に昇っていく。天にいる龍王に会いに、そして龍王から如意宝珠を授かりに昇っていく。進展・発展の想いを込めて・・・　掛け軸は１５５年の伝統手法を誇る京都の加納雲綿堂製。
 
Colour in the rain is "blue sky beyond the clouds" in Japanese. Above the rain clouds, a blue sky spreads. This four-character idiom is an analogy that suggests that current hardships will soon pass and good things will come. The painful experiences we are experiencing now are nothing more than rain falling in that place over the course of our long lives. Above the clouds, it is sunny, and such hardships will soon pass. Everyone has had such experiences. Climbing into the sky, a clear sky spreads before them. A dragon rises into the blue sky. It rises to meet the Dragon King in the heavens, and to receive the wish-granting jewel from the Dragon King. Filled with thoughts of progress and development... The hanging scroll is made by Kano Unkin-do in Kyoto, which boasts 155 years of traditional techniques.
