淨智寺への階段を上ると本堂がある。本尊は　阿弥陀如来　釈迦如来　弥勒如来の木造三世仏座像でそれぞれ過去、現在、未来を象徴する。
その三世仏座像を傘の内側に描きました。上ってきた階段は過去となり　今いる階段は現在　これから上っていく階段は未来、、、　仏様と共に上っていきます。
 
 
If you go up the stairs to Jochiji Temple, you will find the main hall. There are three wooden Buddhas are sitting which call Amida Nyorai, Shaka Nyorai, and Miroku Nyorai. These are the symbolize the past, present, and future.
I painted these three Buddhas on the inside of the umbrella. The staircase you climbed becomes the past, you're on now is the present, and you're going to climb is the future...I'll go up with the Buddha.
