画面の中には木目を利用した線がいくつも描かれ、その線を境に絵の中の空間は、ずれたり途切れたりしています。
細切れの時空を寄せ集めたような世界、そこは不安定ながら、鮮やかな朱色の金魚たちは力強さも感じさせます。
半透明の蜜蝋の質感を活かし、金魚が重なり合う様子や、水の印象が美しく見えるよう工夫しています。

The world seems to be a jumble of fragments of space-time, and although it is unstable, the vivid vermilion goldfish also exude strength.
The texture of the translucent beeswax has been utilized to beautifully accentuate the way the goldfish overlap and the impression of the water.
