龍が描かれた絵画などには大概なんでもできる宝玉（如意宝珠）を持っているが、龍はその玉を探す苦 難の 旅をする。そしてようやく見つけ出した瞬間を描いた作品である。しかし玉ではなく星にしたのは 人は時にスターに例えられるからだ。つまり宝玉とは人ではないかと推測した。人はなんのために生ま れてきたのかを考えると結局、人と出会うために人生はあるのではないかと悟ったからである。
