"Zen Energy" is a work that explores expression through the contrast of material texture and color. By applying a thick layer of modeling paste to the canvas, creating an uneven surface reminiscent of rock, the work achieves a composition in which the shifts in light and shadow are striking.
Zen is a philosophy that values ​​silence and tranquility, yet deep within it harbors a fiery vitality.
This work accepts this contradiction as it is, visualizing it as a contrast between crimson and ash. The vivid red represents the power that resides within the mind and body, while the heavy ash in the background evokes contemplation and contemplation. The light that penetrates between the two symbolizes the possibility of a new harmony that transcends conflict.
