隣の八百屋は農家直送なのか野菜が新鮮で長持ちする。今日はまるで自宅の庭で採れたかのような歪な形のレモンがあって、興味深々購入してみると、ホントに甘い。皮までパクパク食べれるようなレモンだ。きっと今朝まで木にぶら下がっていたのか、完熟レモンはジューシーでサラダにもジュースにも重宝した。この日以来もう売られていないのが残念だなあ。
 
The greengrocer next door has fresh vegetables that last a long time, probably because they are delivered directly from the farmers. Today, I found a deformed lemon that looked like it was picked in a home garden. I bought one out of curiosity, and it was really sweet. You could eat the skin too. It must have been hanging on the tree until this morning, the ripe lemon was juicy and useful for salads and juice. I missed that they don't sell it anymore since that day.
