コロラドの秋は早い。９月に入ると頂上への道は閉鎖されアスペンツリーが黄金色に色付く。そんな休日の午後、親戚の中学生を連れて出かけると、掛かった橋の外側をわざわざ渡り、やんちゃな二人が大笑いをする。こんな日がいつまでも続けば良いなあ。
Autumn comes early in Colorado. In September, the road to the summit is closed and the aspen trees turn golden yellow. On such a holiday afternoon, I went out with my junior high school relatives, and they crossed the outside of the bridge, making the mischievous two laugh out loud. I wish days like this could last forever.
